Like the title says, I am looking for an exterior painter in the Appleton/Fox Valley Wisconsin area. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! 

I would present yourself as the owner. I bought my first duplex when I wasn't much older than you. It was also a house hack, with inherited tenants (in their 50's). 

It feels a bit weird at first, especially if the tenants are alot older then you. But as long as you show them you are serious, run it like a business, and know what you are doing there shouldn't be a problem. 

If a tenant has a problem with your age, that may not be the type of tenant you want anyways.

I had this installed in a rental, and my personal residence about a year ago, looks very nice, seems very durable. The floors seem to be holding up very well, even in the rental. 

I noticed that it does still scratch quite easily if you slide any sort of heavy furniture on it, but it's hard to see the scratches due to the color/ texture of the planks, so it still looks good. 

Great show, one of my favorite yet. So much to be learned from "failures" and "mistakes" Thanks for opening up and sharing.

Ok, got it. Thanks Jim, I thought that seemed a bit high, I will try my other contractor, and see how he prices it. 

These are just raw, unfinished wood doors. I would be doing the staining/painting of them myself.

The baseboard/floor trim is going to be installed by the flooring installers. I am getting new flooring after the doors.
