Hi guys,

Out of curiosity, I am wondering how much money out of pocket did you put down on your first investment property? I know this number will vary depending on many factors.

@Joshua Levasseur I can relate to you. I'm on the same page, being only 24 I was the only one in my circle of friends that was always very motivated and very much the only entrepreneur. While everyone else was out partying, getting drunk, high all the time, I was putting in the work in both school and business. I found it that every time I hung out with that crowd, my values just went down. I'm still dealing with finding the right crowd, but networking has helped a lot!

Most of the time I am the same way, my brain won't shut off, and i will stay awake at night thinking about ideas. I think that is very normal for an entrepreneur but working out and staying healthy helps me with my sleep.

Post: What are your opinions on investing in Condos?

Hi guys!

First of I would like to say thanks to everyone for being so awesome here on Bigger Pockets. This community has done nothing but become an extremely helpful resource.

Anyways, me and my partner are looking to invest in real estate right after college. We are saving our money, and trying to become more familiar with real estate investing by reading and doing our research.

We are thinking about buying a either a multi unit or single family home and renting it out.

Another thing we were possible considering was investing in condos and renting them out.

I've read articles online about the pros and cons on investing in condos but I would like to know if anyone here can tell me about their experiences on investing in condos and renting them out?

Thoughts?

Hi guys! I am fairly new to the bigger pockets community and so far I have had nothing but an amazing experience using this tool. It is truly such a great learning platform. Currently, I am a senior in college, looking to make my first investment after college (what an exciting graduation present to myself!), but I would like to seek out a mentor prior to doing anything. If anyone can send me in the right direction, that would be great. Once again, I am a total newbie to this, but I am such a fast learner!

Hi guys. I am currently a senior college, and want to invest in real estate as soon as I am done with school.By the time I get out of school, I will owe about 20,000 in student debt (including interest). I have a good amount of money saved (7,000 to be exact. Do I use this money to invest in real estate or should I use it to pay off my loans?

I am currently 23 years old and finishing up my last year in college. I plan to do some real estate investing (multi family properties for rental), and want to prepare myself as much as I can now so I can immediately work towards the goal of buying a property straight out of college. Anyways, what advice would you give to a student in college who is considering real estate investing? Any tips?
