Heather -- I appreciate you directing me to the post.  I noticed that prices in the Riverdale section and that peaked my curiosity.

I'm interested in purchasing properties in the $50K - $90K range.  Any suggestions?  Thanks!

Hi All,

I'm want to purpose townhouses in Clayton County, GA -- specifically Riverdale.  I need information about that area.  Any suggestions on how to start this process?   Thanks!

Greg,

Thanks for the feedback. I'll definitely checkout the fishtown area.

Where can I find information about Philly's eviction procedures and the turn-around time to process evictions?

Thanks,

Paul.

Hi Andresa,

I know certain neighborhoods in Philly have undergone change/improvement for the better. I'd like to stay in front of the "improvement" wave and purchase property and then sell later when the neighborhood becomes hot. Not certain this makes sense to you.

Currently, I don't have an exit strategy. It's basically by low, improve property, rent property, and then sell.

Hi All,

I'm interested in investing in affordable areas in Philadelphia. Ideally areas the will improve over the next five years. Any suggestions?

I've seen some prices on Homepath.com (10K - 40K), so I'm assuming work needs to be done on these properties.

Thanks!

Hi Mary, Darren, David T., Ali, Engelo, Rick, John, and Brandon. Just wanted to thank you for the warm welcome. Wishing you and yours a very happy, healthy, and productive 2014.

@ Darren: Good to know about the meetups.

@ Ali: I chose Dekalb County because I have some acquaintances down there. They have local knowledge about certain areas that I currently lack. For me, just taking baby steps. Gotta learn to crawl before walking. I'll keep in mind what you mentioned about the county.

@ Rick: Thanks for the links. I will review the information.

@ John: Located in BedStuy. Waiting for the snow to stop falling. Weather forecasters are going crazy. Fugetaboutit! We've had larger snow totals.

@ Brandon: Thanks for the links.

Hi All,

My name is Paul and I'm located in Brooklyn, NY.

I interested in owning rental properties in Dekalb County, Georgia. I want to establish a team in GA to assist with maintenance (electrician, plumber, contractor/fix it person etc.). Also, I want to learn about short sales and the foreclosure process. And ideally, finding out information about the income distribution of the county and other areas.
