@Matthew Pool, A veteran can have more than one VA loan active at one time but there's a stipulation on how the Vet was able to do that. Because a VA loan is used for primary resident, but can be used again after (lived in for 1 yr) The Vet decides to upgrade or move away.

@Tony Robinson, thanks for sharing your story and experience. I'm on the sideline waiting for a couple things to close out and getting educated by reading stories like yours. Getting inspired to get my first BRRRR going. Also, looking at out of state. Let's stay connected.

@Trenton Miller, and I agree once the open loan is paid. It can be used again once the VA is notified of payment. Thanks🤙🏽

@Trenton Miller, thanks for the information on ensuring property is in good shape and not fixer uppers. Actually you can use the VA loan more than once. I've used it 3 times, in two different states on SFH, I must have been under the cap to be able to do it 3x. Just haven't used it on MFH and was trying to see if there was a cap per person and how it would work in separate states, definitely will seek a VA specialists on this.

I'm currently stationed in WA state and was thinking of using the VA loan to purchase a MFH. I was also curious if I would be able to use it again when I'm relocated in a different state? Is there a cap on what we are eligible for per state or total per person? Let me know if I should seek a VA specialist for more accurate information. Thanks
