@Derek Dombeck Thanks for the welcome! I haven't been to the Wausau area for a long time. I went skiing there many years ago. I will look into the REIA. I belonged to the Fox Valley one several years ago. What kind of investing do you do up here?

I went driving around Crivitz a little today looking at houses in town.  I saw a few that are vacant with no sign but they could just be summer homes.  I don't see much information about rentals around here.  What is demand like here?  It would be easier for me to invest where I live but it seems like it would be difficult to find renters.  Do you think that's the case?  Not much on craigslist except some mobiles for rent and a couple apartments.  Does Crivitz need another landlord?  

I was planning on looking for rentals in the Appleton area because I am from that area and there are jobs there where here there are not.  I'm here for the scenery and wildlife pretty much.

Hi, everyone!  My name is Corie Bilotta and I am currently trying to find my first rental property.  I live in Crivitz but I'm from Neenah and want to invest in the Fox Valley area, particularly Appleton, Kimberly, Little Chute or Neenah.  

I've lived in those areas and know them pretty well.  What I am new to learning about is how to evaluate properties.  I attended the webinar last night which was great by the way! Thanks, Brandon!  And I've listened to many podcasts trying to learn about all the different ways of investing.  Its so interesting!  

This is a great community and I'm looking forward to learning more and to finding a property with good numbers!
