@Michael Choe I am from the Cleveland area and there are decent areas on both the west and east side. You also have suburbs like Euclid, South Euclid, Garfield Heights and the Waterloo district is going through gentrification. Hope this helps.

@Shiloh Lundahl what would be your solution to save for someone not in that position. I don’t agree with your number although I do encourage people to have reserves. If someone reads your post the wrong way this will discourage them to invest. Let’s be realistic how many people can easily save up $20k

@Jon S. This sounds like a good problem to have. I would say if you’re not looking for the multi-unit, I would rent your primary residence out and continue to receive the cash flow. You own your home free and clear so you have the option of using the equity in your house without selling it.
