thanks gentleman for all the great input! Government Offices are open today and I'll be getting some answers! 

Just odd that I keep hearing/reading about using bandit signs as one of the top ways to get new leads - only to Find out that no one ever really is allowed to use them? 

I'll post what I find out for sure!

I haven't completed my first deal yet - definitely working on that.... but I wanted to share this quick 'success story' with the Bigger Pockets community. 

I had several members welcome me when I first signed up, that's pretty awesome in itself. I also had two members actually reach out and offer themselves because they were in my area.

Needless to say - I took them up on it - and I was able to meet them both individually.

Scott Madan met me at Starbucks and although the meeting was short, he offered to help me out in my future deals by inspecting properties for a Smoking good price - as he had the construction back ground to do that! Great connection!

I met with Michael Helton at one of his actual flipping projects. What a sweetheart, so open and willing to share so much, it just was an awesome experience to see what he was doing first hand. BTW - I think I'll be helping him with staging his property. Another Great Connection!!!

Just wanted to confirm that BP is AWESOME and its members ROCK ... so glad to be a part of all this! If I can ever be of any help to ANY one - I'm so eager to pay it forward!

Hello everyone - first of all - thanks to all the veterans and those serving our country... MUCH LOVE!!!!

So the county offices are closed today and I'm super eager to hear if anyone knows if bandit signs are allowed in Washoe County, Nevada &/or Douglas County Nevada?

Do you have to check with each city as well? or just county?

I apologize in advance if someone has already answered these questions somewhere in the history of the forums... thanks for any feedback.

Hi Scott, all I can say is thank you! I read your guide and read the other 2 links you provided as well. It all made me laugh, feel a little embarrassed, yet feel empowered too! Most importantly, it made me really think about a better way of approaching fellow REIs in general. 

I guess I will embrace BP as my mentor for now!!! 

Your honest advice and recommendations are truly appreciated! 

honestly I can't imagine being able to see a missle that far away... And the way it was lit up? I saw it personally - it literally changed speeds in mid flight????? 

I would say - no, right? As long as the possibility is there.

I'm willing to make trips to meet initially?  

I LOVE your story and profile! What a wonderful place you're at in life and the fact that you're willing it share your experiences and knowledge is admirable! 

since I've never done this I'm not sure but open to anything! Do you actually mentor other new investors? Do you charge for your services?

Hello everyone - do we have to do something within our own settings to add the 'pro' icon to our profile after upgrading to pro membership??? just wondering? 

Also I can't seem to find the lists in the marketplace... It asks for filters but no where to "click" or enter or go??

I'm going to have to watch Brandon's podcast again - I know he went over it but I swore it looked too easy to have to write anything down! HA - thanks for any help I can get!
