Hello everyone! I am new to the investment game (located in Southern California) and looking to get as much knowledge as possible and I have bought plenty of books but I still feel uneasy. I know the importance of getting a skilled mentor or being a part of a great program and acquire as much knowledge from that. I have gone to a seminar conducted by Than Merrils company 'Fortune Builders' but it is highly overpriced and definitely not something I will take advantage of. So the question is, has anyone been a part of a great and successful program where they felt guided them through their career? Any other tips I should be considering? Thank you all for the help.

As a prior service member I qualify for a VA loan and with that I want to purchase a fourplex (in Southern California). But I want to be responsible as an investor and ensure that I am protecting my asset. So would it possible to claim a property under an LLC when using the VA loan?
