Hi Jay, I am one of the newbies you probably don't like that much, but I am a serious player. I do not expect you to fund any of my projects, at least not yet, but I would benefit from any and all advice I could pick up from you. I am just returning from 37 years in Asia and could give you some advice about building or buying in Asia if you happened to be interested.  There are some interesting opportunities in Japan right now.  

I am located in the Portland/Vancouver area so hopefully we can meet up sometime.

@Wendell De Guzman, wow, this is a great post for me.  I am hoping to do some similar things. You mentioned mobil homes in Florida.  How did you find these properties?  Do you travel to inspect each one?  Look forward to your next posting and I will keep following this thread.

@Marcia Maynard  Hi, and sorry to "but in" on your conversation with Wesley Adams but was reading your reply and thought I would say hello.  I am currently in China, but will be relocating to the Portland/Vancouver area from Monday the 23rd of March.  I am interested in Portland/Vancouver real estate (mostly fix and flip type stuff) and noticed your comment about finding a house from a realtor at a fair price.  Any information about good realtors in the area would be appreciated.

Thank you for getting back to me.  I am not sure when I will be up to Seattle, but it will not be too long after I arrive back in the States. Thank you for the leads on groups to look into and I hope we can meet at one of the meetings or for coffee somewhere along the way.

Thank you for the kind words.  I will arrive in Portland on the 23rd and though it might take a few days to get things set up, I plan to start networking as soon as I get there.  When is the first Rarebird meeting after March 23rd?  It would be an honor to be your guest for a meeting.
