Post: Cash Flow areas in San Diego?

@Forrest Baker There may be some areas out there that people are able to find cash flowing properties, but I haven't found them myself. I have a condo in Northpark that cash flows, but I bought it years ago and it would not cash flow at it's current value. I keep my San Diego properties for appreciation, and buy cash flowing properties in other parts of the country.I'm sure there will be others who have opinions on this!

My mom thinks I'm a crazy person for investing in RE, but I just chalk it up to "agree to disagree." She most definitely doesn't have anything positive to say about it, even if I'm very excited. However, I don't let that discourage me. Personally, I just do what I want, and down the line she'll see what RE can do for you. I say you do you, smartly that is.

@Omar Aragon Honestly, $20K seems like a pretty slim profit. It doesn't leave you much room for any issues that may pop up during the rehab, delays in rehab, or difficulty selling. I would try and see if you can get a better price.

@Alex Wong Do you have a property manager? They should be able to help you out with this.

@Nicholaus McNeal I love the low barrier to entry, the cash flow, and the potential growth opportunity. @Stephen Akindona is a wonderful guy and has so much great info on the market. I highly recommend chatting with him!

@Account Closed Do you own your own home? And like Dennis asked, how much is low? How much money do you have to start with? What are your goals with real estate?
