well if you ever applied for a hard money loan its general questions.

They ask for the "numbers". They want to make sure the deal is a good fit. Make sure you do your own due diligence so no unexpected mishaps arise. Anything from liens, to mold, etc. can delay or hold up the loan process because they do inspect the property to help make their decision.

Just like buy and holding can I invest in vacation rentals as a new investor?

Would it be as lucrative  as owning a traditional year-round rental ?

I have not attended one yet looking for one now. But I have  been networking online and social network real estate investment groups.  You both have great ideas and I appreciate the advice

thank you shawn for your feedback. the type of people I am looking to work with are other real estate investors wholesalers, and generally people I can partner up with on deals that I find. because I'm a fairly new investor myself and although I have been studying and doing a lot of research and I have experience in wholesaling, to step in a new direction with rehabbing is a whole other ballgame. so to find someone to get direct input from would be helpful even working with a partner where I would do 90% of the work and I would just get guidance along the way would be great. I pretty much understand the logistics of the real estate investing market I am looking to create financial freedom and a new career

  • its hard connecting with investors, wholesalers, or people who are really serious about investing in my area. how do i weed out the goldfish from the Sharks? Especially on BiggerPockets, trying to connect with people in my area and they only create a profile and never go on it or attend webinars or posted in forums, etc. how do others connect with great people and create partnerships by using bigger pockets any suggestions, ideas and advice.

so just to be clear, I have the option of using obamacare but if I make $1mil a year in real estate investing I would be better off paying out of pocket.

I thought if I had a business, like an LLC I can get like corporate insurance or something like that. As if I could call HIP or Blue Cross and get premium quotes through them

becoming a full time investor has it greatest benefits, however I still have a family to take care of. That being said if real estate investing is a business can it be easy to obtain medical insurance and other benefits to cover my family. Is there any full time investors paying out of pocket for their Medical expenses or has anyone joined a benefits group that is associated with their company. Who should I contact to get this type of coverage set up under my business?
