In reality you are interviewing the broker to see if what they offer/charge is a fit for you.

Hi @Sam Tamayo. I think a lot of brokerages are "body shops" and do not care about production but rather want any agent to come in an do the few deals they'll do before they quit. These types of brokerages are a disservice to the industry because they offer no support.
I also think being an agent Part time is tough to do successfully. There's some annual costs just do the job. We can talk privately if you'd like.

The Express Offer ibuyer will make a cash offer to the seller. The commission you decide will be included in that offer and as always paid by the seller. Some ibuyers will rehab and relist and you will get commission on the relist too.

I can confirm you cannot wholesale if you are at EXP. If you attract agents in other markets, they could handle those leads and you would benefit from revenue share.

IMO there's no need for brick and mortar in 2020. EXP hands down the best with tons of live training in the cloud every week. We also have Workplace for international network/collaboration.

So it seems NYC operates a bit differently but my brokerage is operating there and we don't have fees like that. Also our split is 80/20 for everyone. Only caveat is new agents in the mentor program pay an additional 20 % for first 3 transactions to their mentor and university.

@Jeremiah Neumann congrats and welcome to the party. You will want to interview/research as many brokerages as possible to find one that works for you. You will want a brokerage that offers support and training to new agents. Not just says they will but actually does it.
