Hello BP!

I was looking to be a intern/temp this summer in the real estate industry in the Corpus Christi or San Antonio area and was hoping to work in a mortgage brokerage firm or a title company. I do not care about pay, I just want to help out in the firm, learning and getting my feet wet in the real estate industry. I am not looking for a specific position, just a helpful one for the firm that a 21 year old undergraduate in finance could do with no prior working experience in the real estate market.

Thank you all!

@Watson Hilaire

Welcome to the Bigger Pockets! We are happy that you have joined! Wish the best for your investments!

Stay bold!

@Ed Neuhaus

Sorry about asking this newbie question...

What is cap ex? I know vacancy expenses, op ex (Operations expenses), and PM (Property Management) expenses. I know it's probably something simple but I would rather be sure.

Oh and if i got one of the above ones wrong let me know!

Welcome to Bigger Pockets @Kate Weber!

I wish i could answer that for you but I am also a newbie. I like the buy and hold strategy myself and wish the best of luck to you! BP is a great place for you to learn and connect with people! Check out the podcast, blogs, and make a habit to be on the forums regularly (I am trying to do the same).

Again best of luck! God Bless!

@Johnny Rodriguez

Welcome to Bigger Pockets! I am a newbie as well (more of a newbie i might say) so sadly i can't answer that question about the realtors licenses but I know there is a lot of people here that can help you with that question! Just remember you are always networking.

Keep up the good work! God Bless!
