Hey @Denis Ponder, so I am not very familiar with the Yale locks.

Do you have all three locks in the same zone or do you have them setup in different zones? I am using the zone term in a generic way as I have no idea how Yale is setup.

Do you have them connected to a Z Wave or Zigbee hub or just to WiFi?

For example, on my Schlage Encode, it is connected via Z Wave to a Samsung SmartThings hub. I can setup different locks in different zones and can change the codes separately if needed.

Maybe setting them up in different homes or rooms or whatever Yale uses.

I will say that I don't use the Schalge lock app but the SmartThings app with the Schlage widget.

They are connected to the nest connect things and then directly to wifi.  Everything is changed/updated/managed via the Next app.  I'm not sure how to set up different "zones" so I'll play around and see what I can learn.

I will explore the smarththings app and hub and see if that might fix my problem.

Thank you.

Good morning,

I purchased a property with Next Yale locks and have been able to get everything connected and am currently managing all locks through the app. However, I can't seem to figure out how to program different locks with different codes. For example, the guest studio we have as a STR would ideally have a different code than the other two doors which lead into our main house. I can't figure out how to make that happen. Every time I change a code, it changes all 3 locks.

Any experience/advice regarding this?  I looked online and can't find a solution so I am hoping someone here can help.  Thank you.

It could be that you’re not coming up in the search because there are too many other properties which have status. That happens on Airbnb too.

So my best bet would be social media promotion to build status?  Or is there a different/better way to accomplish that?

It’s Premier Host on VRBO. It comes with high number of good reviews between a particular interval. It should list out how to achieve it on their website. On Airbnb it’s called Superhost.

 Thank you.

Lovely spacious place!! I echo the thoughts about adding more color and the caution about the trampoline. Looks like it has hardscaping around the edge?? Too easy to fall on for kids or tipsy adults. I know folks in MD who remove one from their primary home else their insurer was going to drop them. Best wishes!

Thank you!  We are working on getting some more color in there.  We currently have a guest so I will add a splash of color after their departure.

Trampoline at an Airbnb is ripe for a lawsuit. Have you considered taking this out? If not, hopefully your insurance is solid and will cover this. Definitely something to look into if you haven't.

Thank you for your feedback.  If we get a net to go around it, would that be better?  Or just get rid of it?

I’d put the pic of the bed as the main photo. It’s the click bait to get them to look further.

Thank you.  I had that as the main photo for the first week but I'm under the impression changing the photos and updating the text regularly helps keep the listing closer to the front page.  Is that accurate?  If not, I agree there are better photos.  But I was planning to cycle through the good/best ones regularly.

So they say. I was in a closed session with Airbnb and they didn’t mention it specifically. Here’s my blog post on what they did say helps.
