Hi @Gordon Cuffe thanks for the advice. I will be attending the REI meetup in Roseville on the first. Being that it looks like you live there will you be attending? I am already gathering a couple of leads here and there and i've contacted one. Once I get a deal under way I will be contacting you. Thank you for the advice.

Hey @Account Closed I am looking to partner with another wholesaler in my area that would be able to teach me a thing or two. I have done some research on how to generate good leads when it comes to wholesaling. I'm just now starting up and i've already contacted someone that would be good potential.

I would definitely be interested in chatting with you further to learn about the area, the market, and real estate in general. Thanks for reaching out to me. 

Hi BP, I thought I would make a post that would make me aware of some local Wholesale Investors. I've already started getting help from some, but the more the better. I'm self motivated and i'm trying to get my first deal under my belt. I'm not a fan of waiting around and researching for a year before I start making moves, but I know that I don't want to go into a situation blind. I'm seeking to gain knowledge and the tools I need to make my first deal and hit the ground running.

Oh that sounds really nice. I would think that would be a good advantage as well. Right now I'm looking to do some wholesale deals, eventually I would like to buy and hold, or buy and send flip. I know you mentioned financing have you looked into any hard money lenders so you can get started rather then waiting?

Thanks @Rosston Smith & @Mark Nolan. I've been listening to a lot of podcasts already, and I'm looking forward to my first REI meeting coming up soon. It seems like my missing link is a mentor, but until I find one I will be researching more and more. Can't wait to get my first deal!
