28 year old husband and father of a baby girl looking toward the future seeking to get out of the day to day J-O-B and start putting my real estate investing dream into a goal and taking action! I work in manufacturing and my wife is a elementary school teacher. We make a combined $75,000 a year income and of my goals is to replace my income with real estate income which is about $35,000. I have no real estate experience yet besides owning our current home (paid in full) Real estate investing has been a pipe dream of mine for the past few years now and this year I have finally decided to take action towards starting. Currently I am in the learning stage, engulfing myself with real estate books, podcasts and now this Biggerpockets account. I have told myself I will buy my first real estate investment property within the next year and I am eager to learn all I can before then! From what I have learned so far I see myself leaning towards buy and hold single family rentals, maybe some multifamily. Can't wait to see what I can learn from biggerpockets!
