You want to own Real Estate (Land) on google, why do we think this only applies to physical Real Estate. If you build it they will come, few actually build it. Many just shoot from the hip!
I speak to investors daily and a large majority of them do not think about the benefits of having a website. Think about this for a second, would you do business with a company that does not have a website? Some people say well it depends, well my next questions is would you sell your house to someone who does not have a website? Some may still say depends, listen I am not here to convince anyone I just know what works but here is the thing...#1 First it can't hurt your business, no brainer there. #2 when you have a website you pay once to set up the website but don't pay monthly, daily or weekly for leads (you can, but we don't) #2 Having a website means motivated sellers find you! (And done correctly you get a lot of motivated seller leads) So why wouldn't someone create a website
The only business I am going to that may or may not have a website is my favorite mom and pop hole in the wall restaurant down the street, but I am only spending $10+ dollar, I am not a motivated sellers looking for a solution to sell my house!
P.S Never mind I just checked and even they have a website!!!

When I first started investing it took me 1.5 years to get my first deal. I was cold calling, driving for dollars, waking up early to put out bandit signs, and door knocking because I did not have a lot of money to spend on marketing. I got my first deal driving for dollars, was I excited, yes! But then I thought, why would my chance or the speed to which I get a 2nd deal be any quicker then 1.5 years. It's like betting on red, getting lucky then expecting it will happen the next spin. If you are new to investing shoot me a personal message and I will do my best to point you in the right direction on what clicked for me and how we generate motivated free leads

I talk to many seasoned investors and it still amazes me how many people are paying for motivated leads. No one is waiting for a cold call or a mail in the letter asking them to sell their house. When people have a problem (are motivated) and need to sell their house they will go to google and find a solution. If you're website ranks #1 you will get a lot of traffic. Now, you will get traffic you will not get leads. You still need a system to take that traffic and convert it into a lead. For example, when someone visits your website what will make them fill in their personal address, email and phone number and want to be contacted. You need to create value for your motivated sellers, for the people who visit you page. So my advice is pour into your website. Make your website kick butt in creating value and make people want an offer from you!

Hey Jordan,
Congrats on making the lead into Real Estate! Do you have a website set up for motivated sellers can find you instead of you tracking them down?
