Thanks for info.  But I wanted to know does 3x rent still apply considering they are section 8? Would the voucher be considered as income and counted as such? Typically section 8 tenants are low income so I'm wondering if the income requirements are the same as non section 8 tenants. 

In the county where the property is located there's no standard limit on what you can charge a tenant, of course market rent is preferred, but anything over and above their voucher is their responsibility.

How do you determine income qualifications for Section 8 tenants?  Is it different from tenants who aren't on Section 8? Does 3x rent still qualify considering their income is obviously low considering they are receiving Section 8.  Should the voucher they receive be considered income and included as income?
