Hi @Anthony Butcher there are two types of AIR BNBs to get into. Pure vacation rentals where you would find an area like Ludington, Traverse City or remote location with nature or vacationing items to do. There is also places like Lansing and Grand Rapids that people get homes in reasonably nice area to rent out to individuals who are there to see college students, college sports, or for academic professional items. Depending on your preference and entry price would also determine what you would want to do as well.

@Treshawn Black you should reach out to some local agents and start with interviewing the agents to make sure they can represent your investing interest. From there select one or more agents to start looking for the discussed properties.

Hi @Michelle B. Lansing and many of the surrounding areas are great investment areas. Rental requirement are listed on the city’s code enforcement section.

Some other city’s in Michigan that great to invest in as well are Battle Creek and Kalamazoo. Great commerce mixes growing population and home sales value that allow an investor to still make sense.

If you have additional questions I would be happy to answer them. I am a investor and realtor in the greater Lansing area.

@Nick R. if you do add it as an option for quests make sure you add additional sign off paperwork that makes you not liable for the safety of the horses or anyone who comes in contact with the horses.

The other option is to rent the barns and additional land out to local horse enthusiasts.

@Erick Caffarello, my suggestion is do a search for realtors in the area and contact them all and ask them for a property manager or management company and a referral. From there you can do phone interviews with the prospective companies. I know it’s a bit of leg work but it should get you the best results.

@Daniel D. Grand Rapids is a super hot market right now with aggressively high prices. You might want to consider the Lansing Market prices are increasing, but an investor can still buy and hold properties from the MLS for a profit.
