Hey Jay, thank you for the warm welcome and responding so quickly. I would love to talk with you when you have some spare time. I am a novice but I am new to real estate investing, especially notes and thus I would love if we could talk and you could give me some direction on beginning. I know the old saying is the best way to learn is by doing, which I agree with. However, I would love to first understand the basics of note investing and then delve into investing in notes. Let me know if you have some time to chat. I am typically available during the evenings after 7 pm when I get off of my day job.

Hello Everyone,

I am a novice investor that lives in NYC and is looking to begin my career in real estate. I want to focus more on buy and hold for my long term strategy. However, I am also open minded and willing to learn more about other investment approaches when investing in real estate such as fix and flip.

I currently work in finance and would also like to see if marry the two areas I enjoy, real estate and finance. Thus I am interested in learning about areas such as tax liens, purchasing mortgage notes and investing in MBS (Mortgage Backed Securities).

Thanks and I look forward to working with, learning from and getting to know as many members of the BiggerPockets community that I can!!!
