@James Wachob Please don't hesitate to contact me. If I could be of any assistance I would love to help any BP members any way that I can.

@Andrew Davis Oh Wow! That is really awesome that they offered the flexibility to make a loan product for him! I am also no opposed to taking money from these transactions and savings etc. and placing it in their banks - as I have heard that that could potentially help as well. I have been struggling with the relationship part as even the credit union I deal for personal and business needs has a call by phone system. Even if you come in to get some sort of financing, you sit down at a telephone and call them lol. It's not like the old days from my small hometown where you just new everyone. I am going to really develop this plan and visit everyone of them until I get the right one. Thanks for the tip.

@Andrew Davis Thanks for the welcome.

As far as my experience, it kind of happened out of necessity. My wife and I had acquired several properties over the years, in Tallahassee, NW FL, North Carolina and Palm Bay, FL. We decided to start getting rid of them in hopes of investing more in a central location for us. So far all of them have worked out great (the NC one closes on April 5th, with only ok results).

Just really examining everything, the BRRR method seems really amazing. The part that I was a little nervous on was finding the right lending institution for the Refi as I have heard that those could be a little tricky sometimes. Did you use a local portfolio lender for that part? Also, YOU MUST BE DOING SOMETHING RIGHT if you can pull an additional 10k - good job! It's nice to talk with other Central FL people with the same interests and BRRR experience is a plus.

Hello All,

I am brand new to BP and I am a realtor in Brevard County. I have renovated and sold 2 of our personal properties (and finishing the 3rd one up in the Pensacola / North Florida area). I am looking to start doing a few flips but really want to focus on buy and hold /rentals in Brevard. As a realtor, I occasionally come across some great deals from the MLS as I check it frequently.

After I finish this current home I will have a nice amount of cash to put towards this venture and would like to use the BRRR method to grow a nice portfolio of properties. I would like to network and build of small team of people (investors, contractors, etc) who are interested in investing in this area. I am definitely open to finding additional funding to pair with my own to make this venture get moving faster. Are there any BP members that are currently doing anything similar in Brevard County, and how has this process worked for you?
