@Joshua Top same. I really enjoyed the episode but not sure I heard must about a crash. More about how much he loves crashes as buying opportunities.

@Eddie Shumulinskiy second the virtual option as well. Happy to pay to watch the talks. With COVID spiking down south can’t take the chance since my youngest (the one who had the heart transplant) can’t get vaccinated yet. Very very disappointed.

@Cruz Gartner my youngest had a heart transplant stand ongoing medical issues that aren’t conducive to a W2 job. This has accelerated my pace and my goal is within 5 years to be out of the 9-5 full time job gig. One property down and looking for the next. Good luck to you!

@Andrew Syrios completely agree. My STR ONLY works because I have the absolute best care takers for it. They have been cleaning and landscaping the place for years before I purchased it. It would be a nightmare to handle without them. The labor shortage is brutal at the moment

My next property will be a straight up rental. Will be an interesting experiment to see what works better for my situation.

Loving reading all the different perspectives.

Excited for you, friend.  Please let us know how it goes once it's a done deal.  I think you're making a great move FWIW.

I've just added Troy to my top 3 - along with Hudson Valley.

I would love to join!  @Orly Howard I am NYV based and investing in the same area as you mention.

Just curious how this worked out for you?  I am also looking at land in Accord...

Just finalizing a deal for an Air BnB property in Livingston Manor.  :)

My youngest child had a heart transplant as an infant.  His ongoing care requires a lot of time and flexibility given his long stretches in the hospital.   I want to transition out of corporate America and into full time RE investing so I can be available at all times.    And as Jonathan said, generational wealth.
