@Joshua Dorkin

Hate to revive an old thread, but I too was banned for the same. That said, my messages might have been considered "solicitation"... sort of... but more to the fact of who I am and why I wanted to be a college. If there was no issue with my message, I realize that it was the rate at which I was sending them. Seemed like a good idea!

If my message was against the rules please let me know and I will not send it again.

Thanks!

@Lane Patterson Hello Lane. Always nice to meet others from Little Rock who are active in REI. Your experiences in REI far overshadow mine, but I would definitely enjoy getting to know you better and to have you "share your experiences." Cheers and welcome. I will shoot you a PM.

@Jimmy Moncrief I swear I have gone to other corners of the world and ran into people who were from El Dorado. There is something strange about that little city! Not a bad state and definatly not a bad market to learn in.

@Mehran K. Thanks for the welcoming words.

@Dan Buck I couldn't agree more that the beginners guide was a great guide. In fact I have recommended it to at least a handful of people who are interested in what I am getting into.

@Brandon Turner No sir, Thank You for this amazing site. I really can't see any reason to spend any money on big guru stuff based on everything that I have found here.

@Billy Miller Thanks for the warm welcome. I look forward to networking more with you in the future and maybe even working some deals together! Best of Luck!

Greetings! My name is Eric and I reside in Little Rock, Arkansas. I have been lurking on this site for a few months now and as I am staing to push forward with my company I decided it was time to say hello and get registered here. A big thanks to all the contributors. The information here has been priceless and I look forward to hopefully giving back in the future.

I am a newbie to REI but have a lot of business experience. Within the last few years I stepped away from a job that paid very well to get into EMS. I love my job but miss a life where I am more financially secure. I am hoping that getting into REI will add some balance to this equation.

Currently I am working along a local investor in a mentor ship program that he offers. I plan to primarily focus on wholesaling initially but to get into other creative investing techniques along the way like lease options and subject to. I have great sales skills having learned sales from a fortune 100 company in the past and have a fair degree of experience with marketing, albeit primarily online marketing.

I hope to use this resource to learn more from other investors, to network with individuals in my area, and hopefully make a few friends.

Cheers,
Eric.
