Of course @Account Closed. The first deal was a two family which I'm currently living in. Financing for that was FHA 3.5 down @195K. Second deal was a three Family, 20% conventional @325K. Two family will cash flow $800 a month after expenses after I move out. Three family will cash flow $1000-$1200 a month after expenses.

Hello everyone!

Just wanted to share the excitement of my second multi family purchase! I’m new to the investing world but I was able to achieve 5 units within two multi family’s in my first year of investing! I’m currently investing in New Haven county, CT. If there are any other investors in or close to this area that would like to network please let me know. I would love nothing more than to get out there and network with local investors seeing any new knowledge is helpful knowledge! The whole COVID thing seems like it is putting a damper on local meet ups.

Best!

Erik

Hello everyone!

I was just presented with a amazing opportunity to purchase my second multi family (3 family) house in Beacon Falls, CT. I currently live in Seymour, CT in my first multi family (duplex) purchase under a FHA 3.5% loan. Is there anyone that could help me get into this second purchase without a conventional 20% down payment?

Thank you in advance! :)

Hello everyone!

I recently closed on my very first rental property (duplex) in CT and was wondering if I could get some recommendations on which software programs each of you prefer to use. Any other advice would be greatly appreciated as well!

Good afternoon everyone,

My name is Erik and I am looking for all the advice and help I can get. I would like to start investing in triplexes in Orange County, NY - preferably Woodbury Village, Highland Mills, Cornwall or Highland Falls. My plan is to purchase through an FHA loan, live in one of the three uints for 1-2yrs, then refinance to a conventional loan and repeat the process till I have 2-5 under my belt. I am looking to find an invested mortgage broker, lender or real estate agent that knows these areas, market trends and understands what it means to invest in multi-family units. It would be greatly appreciated If anyone in the BP community has any networking recommendations or could point me in the right direction pertaining these areas of interest. Also, I'm currently searching for local meetups in these areas as well.

Thank you!
