@Patricia Steiner You have encouraged me to look into getting an attorney to draw up a partnership agreement and possibly assist with other required actions. Thanks for sharing your expertise.

@Mitch Messer This is sound advice, thanks for sharing and passing along your experience.

@Daniel Gonzalez may you also please send me your contact information, I may need a contractor for my new property.

@David Da Silva Is a cashflow between $300-600 a good deal for a duplex in Essex County? There's also potential room for an additional cash flow for a rented basement apartment after a year of occupancy. I will appreciate your feedback and expertise. Thank you.

@Jonathan Greene thank you very much for your feedback and insight.

@Danielle Hayes-Ward Hi Danielle! Although, your post is over 5 years old and I'm curious to connect with and learn if and how you were able to accomplish investing in Irvington, NJ.

@Jonathan Greene Do you advise to keep tenants on a month-to-month lease after purchasing a property?

@Harry

@Harry Arnold Thank you for sharing you advice on this platform. I also plan to start investing in the Essex County area and will certainly look for 'A Diamond in the Rough' in hope of future equity. Although, initial I stated my search in Bergen County where I live, it appears that Essex County is the best place to buy a relatively lower prices multi family. Do you have any suggestions on how to build a portfolio after in the initial investment?

@sal or

@Sal Orlando thanks for this advise. Looking to the same within a month or so.
