@David McLean Not at the moment. We had a couple that we were eyeing but couldn't get the funding. I think we will just end up selling it and rolling that cash into another project like you guys are recommending. We would like to connect with some investors and see what could be available to us. We definitely want to have our own skin in the game as well, but would like to be able to jump on a deal if we find it. thank you for your reply btw.

@David Grabiner I guess our paper trail isn't adequate for them, I'm not really sure as we have assets to leverage. thank you for your reply.

@Mario Navarrete That's what we were figuring, is selling this would help bolster our credibility hopefully. Right now we're trying to stay kind of close to home as we have a lot of connections with trade workers and some GC's, but we're definitely open to ideas if you have anything for us to explore?

@Jeff Kehl great advice about the tax aspect. We were definitely looking at all the options and as we are getting close to the end, wanted to figure out which one would make the most sense. Once we sell this would that help us in any way to show a bank we know what we're doing and help getting financing on a multi family?

no we haven't run out of money but just wondering what the best course of action would be. we are trying to free up some capital asap so we can move on to the next project. I think it would be good to cash out refinance so as to still have the property in our portfolio and get some cash to move to the next project.

hello all, I'm new here. I'm in Chattanooga, TN and just got into property investment. Currently have a property that is 90% done with rehab, and looking to weigh my options with it. I have a business partner and we have decided we are definitely going to sell the house to gain capital for our next purchase. We are wondering if we should try a cash out refinance to get some money quickly and then make the rest up when it sells or what could we do? As of right now we own it outright and have redone it with our own cash. I would like to get into a multi family of some sort to retain as a rental in the next couple of projects we start. For whatever reason we are having a tough time with getting financing to try and acquire a multi family. Any info would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
