@Kanchi Ji I joined a handful of local investor facebook groups and one of them has a monthly meetup. If none of the groups near you have a publicly listed meetup you could post in some of the groups and ask about meetups.

@Bridget Kelly thanks for the response! I appreciate the advice. I'm attending my first in person event next week and I'll go armed with this approach. I'll try to get the criteria of any investors that I connect with. Haha and I'm sure deals are disappearing left and right in this market.

@Gabe G. great advise! I just hit the facebook groups hard and will be attending a meetup next week. I appreciate the input, it's awesome to see so many people willing to reach out and give advise to a newbie.

Thanks for the reply @Jordan Fiore, excellent advise and very much in my wheel house. I am entering the real estate world from residential remodeling and have many contractor and sub contractor contacts.I appreciate the encouragement.

Thanks for the reply @Zachary Inman, very good advise! When you first started, how did you meet new investors and build your network?

@Tim Herman The hits don't stop! Great advise. I appreciate the response. My relative has a budget to paint and put down new flooring before moving renters in. The next big expense will be the roof. I'll advise them to build a reserve in the first year before pulling spending money.

Hi everybody! I'm a new agent in South Jersey and have a desire to work with investors. I love analyzing deals and running comps. I'm looking for some practical advise about adding value for an investor. What skills do i need to hone? What's the best way to meet investors? As an investor, what informs your decision to work with a specific agent? Thanks for taking the time to read and respond!

@Tim Herman I'm new to the game and currently helping a family member rent their property. Your thorough and thoughtful response is much appreciated. I love the BP community, so much experience and guidance in these forums!
