Hello so I have a million questions lol I have not yet invested into my first property, but before starting out any pointers I should do? I have been reading and doing things before starting any investment. goal was to reach 4-6 months worth of savings for my own personal finances. I also started an account with a local credit union which I intend on using for investments. Should there be other accounts or "financial planning" I should do before starting out. I have a 401k with day job and just want to be as prepared before I start. As well I am 26 but the way I think I feel 46 lol any help would be APPRECIATED!

Hello everyone I need some help so I am like a new born baby to the real estate investing world. I want to get my first property within the next year just taking care of some consumer debt and I will be ready. So I see from a lot of people their success with single family or multi family. I want to start off in a multi family, but do not plan on living in a unit that I get. So with that being said would you feel as a new investor is a single family home easier to get going and maintain or is the extra work worth more getting a duplex. Please help me!

I currently rent myself but will be looking into my first investment property due lenders count current rent as a debt to income ration for loans?

Hey @Brandon Hopkins I know I guess the issue I am having is that I want to start investing before I get older even though I am only 25 I feel time slipping from me. We are planning for next November for the wedding! :)

Hello so I am in a dilemma and need help. I am expecting my first child next year and have been renting my own little condo, but I have been wanting to purchase a property before I found out I was expecting a baby. My fiance wants a a single family home for the family, but I wanted to do a duplex or invest in a property. I am just a bit confused and a little worried I am not making the right "investor" decision. Any insight or experience will help.
Needs as listed
1. home I am going to own
2. will sell or flip property within 5 years
3. Not sure which funding I should pursue
HELP!
