James, Preparation for if there was ever a pre-apocalypse or disaster that occurs. Or even possibly with the way the country is going. I have been hereing this for years from many othere people and also form others here on BP. Im not trying to be fanatical but this is something i that i definitly will consider.

Brian, Prayer is actually one of the things i will ALWAYS rely on. however, i rather also take my chances in making sure that i am prepared as well. This is something that i was taught growing up from my parents and also the faith in which we pratice.

Rich,

Question, about how much food/water would a person need to last for 6 months?

Ex; 10 gallons, 20ext... 5 can foods for the day

Im really interested in this subject and im getting myself prepared so just trying to get a better understanding.

Also if you dont mind, what would be a $ amount of 6 months to live on? i would think u would base it on what your family needs to live on?

Thanks a million for the advice

Anyone feel free to chime in

Say if you have a 10, 20 or even 50 unit complex, how do you actually go about looking over those rent rolls? what if the sellers does not furnish all of the rent rolls, how do you go about running the number?

Do you look for properties on main streets?

What kind of area would like the property to be in?

ECT..

Great thread!

Hey guys! i know this post is a little out dated, hower it was awesome!

Im 20 years old. I've got been in real estates since i was fourteen. I started interning for one of my mentors that owned a huge development firm. I would help with everything form demolition, to clean up to sheet rock to the finishing touches. At first it was very tedious and made me ffel like why am i even doing this but i will be the first to admit that the experience paid off handsomely and i was able to get my first small rehab done at the age of 19!

Just like everyone said, this is business definitely does work and will make your dreams come true!
