@Natalie Kolodij Yes, the car loan is pretty important, I'm a part time Uber/Lyft driver so I expect to have car loan majority of the time until I can start replacing them for cash only! I appreciate the advice! I'm just going to have to find more hours to drive it seems! Thanks again.

Hey everyone! So I'm just starting out, but I have a lot of debt! Between school loans, car loan and credit cards, taxes too, It's all quite depressing. I'm currently reading and listening to The Book on Rental Property Investing, anyone have ideas on what I should do first. How do I save to buy properties with so much debt? Is that possible or even wise?

Thanks @Dave Visaya, will do, see ya!

Congrats Austin,

You and your wife's story is awesome!!! I'm just starting out with this in my late 30's because I've been working since before I was actually an adult and I can't say i'm any better off to be honest. Adulting is hard work...lol! I wish you continued success and just wanted you to know that I've been inspired by this post and want to get going as fast as possible!

Thanks for sharing!

Hey everyone,

I'm pretty new, I started my account a little while ago, but I haven't been on the forums yet.

My name is Greg, I'm looking forward to getting started with real estate investing. I don't know what i'm doing yet, but i'm here to learn and hopefully make some good friends and possibly some business associates along the way! I'm currently reading The Book on Rental Property Investing and trying to go through the educational section of the site. I feel like this is a good place to start, I'm really liking the site so far! Any advice for a noobler would be greatly appreciated. My finances are pretty screwed at the moment, so I don't know how I'm going to do this, but I don't want that to stop me from moving forward!!!

I hope everyone is having a good day!

Greg!
