@Thomas L. Yes, it's not that difficult to invest in the US, usually through a LLC. The more complicated part is to find financing as it's really difficult to find financing in the US as a foreigner (or you have to pay 10% interest rate).

I'm a lawyer in Belgium so if you have legal questions, don't hesitate to ask!

Do you look online to find deals? (immoweb or other websites?)

At the moment I'm saving up to invest in RE in the US at some point.

Hello Thomas! Very interesting read, I thought it was not possible to find interesting deals in Belgium so I would be really interested in hearing more about your deal once you find the property you want to buy. Where are you looking for properties? You think Antwerp is the best place to buy in Belgium?

Hi @Thomas L., welcome to the forum! I'll read your post and comment there :)

Hi @Luca Gewehr, welcome! I'm also from Brussels, I haven't invested yet but happy to discuss!

@James Wachob I'm interested to know more about the financing options, happy to discuss this on a call.

@Quod L. How have you found your deals in Belgium? Any advice on where I should look first?

Thanks @James Wachob! I have a lot of questions to ask but I will make a selection.

Have you worked with out-of-country investors before (individuals)? What are the main differences in the investment process between out-of-country and out-of-state investors? Something I should pay particular attention to?
