We've got Duplex under contract in Cornwall, Ontario. This is our first residential property in Cornwall. Any referral or suggestion for best residential property insurance company in the area? Any help would be much appreciated. 

@Eric S. Also, make sure that it's open term. It would give you an opportunity to refinance or sale and pay back to the seller without any penalties. 

Does anyone know how's the Belmont street in Cornwall? Is it good area? Should I invest there? I have heard that Some areas near first and second street is not considered as best location to invest. However, I am looking for expert's opinion. Any help would be appreciated.

I am investor myself and also from Ottawa, Ontario. I am not sure where are you purchasing your rental properties. 
I have seen all the rentals in West of Ottawa valley region, Tenants are responsible for grass cutting and snow removals. 
I would suggest to go visit Landlord tenant board site (https://tribunalsontario.ca/lt...) and also there is a group on Facebook called "Ottawa Small Landlord Association" where you can get recent or upcoming updates.
