For someone just starting out, like myself, I was wondering if someone could start me in the right direction on how to get started in the area that I am at right now. I will be here for about three more years but I do not want to wait until I am in an area where I will be for a while. What are some things that I can read or groups that I can join in the local area. Any suggestion is a welcomed one. Thanks in advance.

I am new to the real estate market and biggerpockets. I am looking to gain knowledge to see what area of the market I would like to get involved with. I am in the military and there is a for sure end soon (the next 10 years). I currently have a rental that I was not planning on getting involved in but I would have lost money if I would have sold my house that I had when I was at my last duty station. Know I am so thankful that I did because I have a steady stream of passive income.
