Hi everyone, I am new to bigger pockets and real estate investing. I have been listening to bigger pockets' podcasts at my night job and reading when possible to try and educate myself on real estate, until I have some free time. But now that I am married and paid for my wedding, I can quit my night job and focus on real estate investing and really dive into it!!!
So, I was wondering if flipping or using the BRRR strategy for multi/single family residents is a viable option in the area? Also does anyone know of some good meet ups/groups in the area for real estate investors? I would really like to meet up and discuss ideas or partner with someone on a deal. I'm really eager to learn and always ready to put in the hard work. If there's one thing to know about me it's that I'm always willing to put in the time and hardwork. So if you're willing to invest your time to show me the ropes I will give you everything I got! Thanks and look forward to connecting!!

I started reading up on the concept of wholesaling and am trying to figure out what to do to get results? I have heard Facebook ads, direct mailing campaigns, etc. But what makes for a good message to potential sellers? Are there certain styles or wording that I should be using? Also, what type of people should I target for my direct mailing and marketing?

Hi everyone!
I'm new to BP and am looking for some help so I can get started on my first deal. With that said, I was wondering..
What makes an area good to invest in and who/ what is a good resource to get that information? Like do you look at job growth, median income, revitalization projects. Do you get this kind of info from google, certain government officials/departments?
If there are any existing posts that are good resources please let me know. Thanks!!
