@sharonw It was also going to be a 5% interest loan. And I found him on meet up.com which seems to be where most people find him. After reading this  post, I asked him if he had any references I could contact or a LinkedIn profile where I could check him out. He sent me three email addresses  (all of which were probably his own)   I am just said you can contact these guys but I don’t feel like some email addresses qualify as references so yea, Anyway, thanks for the idea and I will make sure I report him to meet up.com. By the way, has anybody actually been scammed by this guy? I understand he doesn’t look legit but there’s not much for me to report if nobody has actually lost money or had their identity stolen

wow, thank God I found this post! I was just emailing back-and-forth with the guy this morning and when he asked me to send a copy of my ID And $400  I started searching for him and he didn’t pop up in Whitepages so I searched for “Michael treat loans“ and found this post. Hi, I use REI PRo for certain things but what is the best real estate investing software I have found by far is propstream. It allows you to combine different lead types i.e. look for vacant properties that are in pre-foreclosure or absentee owners with liens on their homes or pre-foreclosures with liens on them.
