Looking for a Houston based branding/marketing firm to develop a brand for our business.  We have a vision/idea, just need someone to build on it and develop.  Thanks!

Post: Houston - CPA and RE Lawyer advice

We have done our first flip, and putting the home on the market this week.  Now, we have been using quickbooks to track everything, but are not comfortable doing the taxes, payout to investor, and operational costs...nor do we want to!

We are looking for a CPA for advice, review books on a monthly basis and generally be a person to bounce ideas off of when these ideas are going to cost a lot of $$.

On the RE Lawyer side, looking for someone trustworthy that we can use to casually give advice, and possibly review title reports that we get on auction properties.

Really, any advice or connections are helpful, so feel free to post!

This is Houston, TX area only, and we are located in the north part.  Thanks!

@William E. Fantastic info!  Thanks for the share and will have to press a little more into that territory to test the waters!

@William E. Ok, so thats good stuff!  At least it confirms we weren't too far off with our strategy, guess we just haven't got the right opportunity yet.

One question:  After purchasing the property, how long did it take to get from buy (at auction) to deed in hand and able to actually start doing the renovation on it?

I just don't know the procedure if you have a 'free and clear title' (minus the tax items), and the title with personal liens against it.

@Chuck Webb So far we haven't had luck at auctions, would you have maybe a couple of main points to let us in on to get started?  Or is simply going there and talking to people the best way?

Thanks @William E. for the sites, checking them out now.  For sure @Trey Watson, we are just learning right now and mainly in the buy/flip stage right now, and our capacity is 1 to 2 homes at a time.  Add me and at anytime send me an email, its in the signature.

This is definitely a great start!  My partner and I have just opened our company this year, and are just trying to learn all we can about this whole real estate business!  Just finished our first remodel in Humble, and looking for the next opportunity.

If anyone has any insight into local events/meets that happen in the Houston area to network and talk about past experiences that would be fantastic.
