Hi Clay,
I'm not familiar with the "commercial" end of real estate, but I believe that because you are actively licensed and have an employing broker, that you should still be able to join the local board of realtors and in doing so, you will be able to access the mls for yourself. You cannot hang your license with more than one broker at a time. I hope this helps : )

Hi Ronda!
I've been doing a lot of research on the subject, and have been looking into Steve Cook's book/program. He seems to be highly recommended, and isn't a "guru" trying to take your last dime. A lot of people speak highly of him. I hope this helps : )

Hi Jason,
Check out Real Estate Express. They offer classes that are all online. I used them for my Florida license. Great program! Not sure if they offer classes for an Indiana license, but it's worth checking out. Hope this helps, and best of luck to you : )

Hi Jeff!
I think that doing open houses for other agents listings is a great way to meet new prospects. Nothing beats face to face contact. It's a great way to get your face out there, and even other agents will see you out there and know that you're willing to put in the time.

Hi Deion,
If you are new to the business, how about starting out as an assistant to a busy agent in your area? It is a great way to learn the business, and get paid while doing so. Just my 2 cents : )
