My partner was there for everything. We did not outline where the seam was going to go. I knew that the installer does what is best for the integrity of the piece. My question is with the backsplash. Shouldn't the seam line up? It looks like it was one whole piece and then broke just a few inches away from the other seam.

I'm sorry for the pictures being sideways. Makes it a little more difficult to see. I wasn't as upset over the seam. I know that seams are visible. I felt like this was a little too visible. However, I was more concerned with the seams not lining up between the counter and the back splash. Shouldn't they line up?

Hey all,

One of my first few posts here. I was reading up on any and everything on real estate classes and found this site. Very helpful and useful. I grew up in southern Maine and now live in New hampshire. Currently I go to school in Ohio pursuing a finance degree. This past summer I bought my first flip and decided to hold it for the year while we work on it. The plan is to sell it in May. I posted earlier about our granite countertops I'll attach the link so maybe I can get someone to look at that post too.

Anyway, I'm glad to be here and begin my journey learning.

I attached two photos above. I'm sorry if they appear too big. This is one of my first posts so I'm still learning. We hired someone to come install granite countertops. The price was reasonable after we shopped around. However, I wasn't pleased with this seam. Am I being too picky or is this shotty work?
