@Kim VandermarkThere are obviously many opinions on this but I got mine primarily to stop asking myself if I should/should not get it. I needed to stop asking myself the same question. I haven't looked back since. Actually, my license is in referral (passive) status right now. I don't pay desk dues, only E&O. This way I can maintain the relationship with some of the good Realtors I use but I get a 25% cut of the commission just for having my license.

In closing, my answer is YES! Get it now.

I have two, one of them is "out there" and the other is simple and practical.

Paving Investments- this is my personal one I have had for a long time. I am big believer in positive thinking and goal setting. All of this determines your future and I have heard of that called paving your future. I did Paving Investments because I like to believe I am creating my financial future.

C2&B2 Properties- This is simple and practical as my business partner and his wife are 50/50 owners with my wife and I on a few rental properties and a property maintenance company. Their last name is Clason and mine is Braunwarth. 2 of them and 2 of us.

Both companies use he same logos:

Hey tech gurus, hoping someone can point me in the right direction. I have some buy and hold and flipping excel spreadsheets embedded on my website via an iFrame. I am wanting to keep them a live/dynamic document that visitors can use via the web to analyze. Nothing different than other spreadsheets already out there. Anyway, I have been using Microsoft One Drive to hold my spreadsheet with that link embedded in an iFrame. The problem is that sometimes the iFrame spreadsheet works and sometimes MS One Drive is not available and I have to refresh a few times. WHEN it works it works exactly like I want it to. Is there a different way to do this or a better platform than MS One Drive?

@Chris Adams

 Looks like a good one but what happened to it? Initially, I thought it was a house that was vacant for a long time but then I see some newer fixtures and furniture. It is like a tornado went through there!

Would love to see after pictures if you get the place.

Hey all, I have a fascination with discovering what people do, how they got started and why some people succeed and others don’t. I am hoping that some of you may play along and try to answer the basic questions below. You do not have to answer all if you find any offensive. Kidding, I love BP but I spend too much time reading all of the posts. I wonder how many more deals I could have done or how much more productive I could be with all of the time I've spent "learning" here! Is this just another time taker social media site? What say you? P.S. This is all said in good fun but some truth.
Just wanted to bump this back up for Leonard L. As I was literally thinking this a few hours ago when an apartment in a great location near me just went on the market. I'd love to have it but that's a big jump and too much risk for me at this point in the game. Curious to hear the responses!

Ross Van Wyk small world! I have only been in DSM for 2 years, originally from Minneapolis area, but have found Des Moines a great market. Picked up 3 great properties so far. My wife is actually from Devils Lake, ND and still has family there so I've looked at ND for investing. Although Devils Lake isn't too inflated as of now as it's not far enough west for oil. An oil refinery is slated to be built there so maybe the boom is moving further east.
