Hi does anyone know how is the high end rental market in Utah Salt Lake City and bountiful area ? I have a house which is worth about $450000 and renting for $2700/month to a great tenant, still have 2.5 years left . It's on a variable interest rate . I am debating if I should refi to a fix rate and keep it long term or sell it when the lease is up. This is the only higher end rental I have , so I am not sure if it's a good long term holding property . Any advise would really be appreciate . Thanks 

I too would be very concerned about renting to the family. Their income is too low. References are not that reliable unless I can verify they are the property owners or PM. I had people gave me their relatives or friends contact information to claim they were their landlords. One person gave me fake pay check stubs . 

I would go with the single guy if his employment can be verified and he is willing to put up one month security deposit , first and last month's rent. 

Hi I am new to BP , but have been listening to many episodes of the podcast . Love it  and decided to become a member. I am thinking about putting my 6 rental properties to a trust . Does anyone out there knows a good real estate Attoney in salt lake Utah area ?
