Hi Mark,

I'm happy to hear that your property still continues to produce great cash flow despite all the troubles.

Its been a year later and I would love to hear how your STR is performing. Are you still investing in the Smoky's or are you looking at different markets? Are you self-managing or do you currently use a PM? Do you worry about saturation in the Smokys as a lot more investors are looking in this area?

Thank you in advance for the information!

Hi Minh,

Not much of a Star Wars fan, but definitely a good quote to live by.

I am definitely ready to invest. I guess I don't have a clear direction of where I want to go. I was actually interested in investing OOS in fast growing cities with good rental income and in hopes of appreciation as well, but then I see people like you making 6 figures in the bay area from a single flip and I just wonder if I should be taking advantage what I can do here. I guess I'll need to figure that out before "I do".

Thanks for the information! I'll be sure to look up when the next meet-up is!

Hey @Account Closed, I live in the bay area and have always had interest in flipping homes in the bay area but never had the confidence to actually execute. Hopefully I can make a move some time soon.

Just curious, how are you finding your deals? Are you finding them on MLS?

Any information is very much appreciated. Thank you!

Hi James, Do you know how much a duplex (4b/2b, 2000 sqft) typically costs in West boulevard of Cleveland, OH? And what the rent runs for currently?

Any information will be helpful. Thank you!

Post: Finding Contractors and Property Management

Hi all,

I am interested in making my first purchase in Houston, Texas. This is a foreclosed multi family home which needs quite a bit of work, so I am hoping to apply the BRRRR strategy. I am from out of state and will be purchasing properties sight unseen. If anyone has any experience or recommendations with finding contractors and property management in the Houston, Texas area to get an estimate on repairs, I would greatly appreciate it. Is there a systematic way to better streamline this process of buying properties in distress? Should I already have a team in place before looking investment properties?

if you have any advice for someone who is new to REI and hoping to build a business. I would love to learn from all of you!
