Your question if a house is difficult to sell if it had previous foundation problems, I've never had an issue selling a house if I can show that it was repaired with a warranty, even if the warranty is not worth the paper it's written on. If you have a permit even and/or a engineering report, even better. 

Really depends on your goals. Everyone spitting out neighborhoods have no idea what your goals are. You can rent a house anywhere in Houston, did you what to maximize cash flow? looking for potential appreciation? just stability at maybe break even?

How you fund properties also determines where and what you can buy.

The best section 8 houses are newer houses, you'll be able to keep the tenant longer in a newer, bigger house. If you want to get your house ready for a section 8 inspection, the inspection list is on their website. Other than that, you market the house normally, once a potential Section 8 applicant is interested, that's when the process starts with housing, you don't do anything with housing prior to finding/selection a section 8 applicant. 

i left eXp after 4 years joining REAL in July, both are online with no physical offices unless a team has one, such as myself. eXp did really well for me, in terms of their stock incentives the provided when i first joined in 2017. since then, they have reduced the financial benefits and the main reason why i switched over to REAL which went public on the nasdaq in july. 

Both are for self starters, with less human interaction, but I do highly recommend everyone to actually start off on a team. It doesn't have to be forever, but at least you'll get the attention you need.
