Hello everyone,

I’m a local from Fort Worth and have always wanted to get into real estate. I have just finished the “how to invest in real estate” book and I’m actively learning from podcasts and and other books.

I’m looking to apply my knowledge and act via wholesaling.

If there are any local investors in the Fort Worth,Tx area I would love to connect and figure how I can provide assistance/provide value to you!

Hey Michelle, you would need to have bought the house at a good deal enough to where your repair+closing costs+ holding costs+ purchase costs leave enough room for equity once the house is appraised.

For example: if you get the house for 120,000 and repair costs are 25000, holding costs are 3,000, and closing is around 5,000, your total expenses would be 153,000. Say you get it appraised to cash out refinance and the house is now appraised for 200,000 then that gives you 47,000 in initial equity and after paying all of the costs except purchase price ($33,000) you’ll have $14000 left over for the next property.
current property will be left remodeled and cash flowing.

@Rod Hanks how did you find those deals? And what method did you use to finance the rehab?

Hello Everyone,

I'm currently halfway through the "How to invest in real estate" book by Bigger Pockets and have decided that the strategy I would like to use is the BRRRR method to reach financial wealth.

Is there anyone in the Fort Worth area that Is currently applying this strategy?

I’m a local from Fort Worth all of my life and have been interested in investing into real estate and don’t want to be left behind with the recent market boom. I am currently looking to buy my first home.

I'm mainly writing/starting this discussion in hopes to learn from experienced investors as well as network with any agents/investors familiar with the BRRRR strategy.

Thank you for your time
