anyone have recommendations for kansas city agents who are investor friendly and good at working with out of state investors? i'm ready to build the team. any other tips/input/advice is also always welcome.

It's my understanding that single unit condos (as with SFRs) in LA do not fall under any rent control. You may want to double check that as it could open up some more possibilities for you.

here's an article that just came out today regarding LA rents and a study done by the university of southern california. rents expected to continue to rise for at least two more years.

Erin, do most renters rent apts or sfr's in ventura? Is a house-hack an option for you (buy a duplex, live in one unit and rent out the other)?
