@Bryan Clement currently dealing with that EXACT same thing. I completed my military service in 2016 and haven't been on a consistent physical training program since then. After years of operating at a high level of activity, I completely stopped training. Now I've gained weight and I feel a lot less capable. I'm even noticing how my level of physical fitness has affected my mental confidence, productivity, and general desires and motivation. My plan to fix this is to start hobbies in areas that I am interested in. The idea is that I will get to try things I wanna learn and get in shape as a result. Here are a few of the things I'm looking at....salsa, boxing, surfing, half marathons, and competitive canoe paddling. Hope that helps

@James Murphey thanks a lot. I didn't know about the timeshare thing. I'm gonna send you a connect request. Apart of what I'm learning is networking so I'm hoping to connect with you guys and hopefully help out. I'm glad you told me about the timeshares too. I plan to help people buy and sell homes. I dont wanna lock myself out of that by doing timeshares

@Jordan Moorhead I know a gentleman who just so happens to be the top realtor on the island. He would say the same thing you are saying. I'm gonna take him to lunch and ask him questions from your perspective and Nathan's

@Nathan G. Thanks for your insight. I have given some thought to the costs. And I think I have just the realtors in mind who will give me a real gut check about the industry. I'll take them to lunch ASAP I have a military background so I would rather the no BS style of learning. So your "get all the facts" approach to my post is greatly appreciated. Thank you

@David Pere to answer your questions, I do believe I'm a really good self starter and have the drive to continue when doing it alone. I have very little experience in sales but have made some money in sales. Judging from outside comments, I'm a pretty good people person and I'm learning how to better network by taking classes and reading books. I appreciate your $.02 lol I'm definitely hoping to develop all the skills you mentioned. I believe the skills you are talking about I will need to learn to be an investor anyway. So your input makes me feel better about being an agent.

So I'm currently living on Oahu, Hawaii and the property prices here are super high. Even if they weren't I dont have much money. So after listening to tons of BP podcasts and realizing most of the investors have their license and so does my current mentor, I've decided I'm going to get mine. The plan is to... 1. Become a realtor to build capital for investing and.... 2. Work a buy and hold strategy in multifamily property in Texas and Indiana. I'm mainly posting this one to get more eyes on my plan and see what the BP community can offer as advice.
