@Parker Eberhard Thanks for the input. It does seem like a very expensive business to be in. The weather is oddly nice up here I even thought there would be more snow. The reosrt isn"t really what interests me. Its all the prime  mountain land that is about to become available for pennies on the dollar.

Hi bigger pockets family. This post might seem crazy but i promise its true. I recently moved to Colorado. I work at a ski resort out here and recently found out the owner needs to liquidate the company or she has to let all assets go back to the bank. It is a small family owned company and I see the CFO everyday so I have access to the right people to talk to. Does anyone have any knowledge or interest in an opportunity like this. The owners had two seperate entities. One was the Real Estate Development Company that developed a bunch of land up in the mountains and has been selling the developed lots. That portion has just been surrendered back to the bank (private equity firm). The second was the actual ski resort where I currently work at. This is currently for sale and if not sold will also be foreclosed upon. My idea is to gather a small group of investors together to help me crowdfund the purchase at (50 cents on the dollar)  and manage the HIGH income producing asset thereafter.

Hi biggerpockets I have an option on 30 acres of land in alabama that could be used for a great mobile home park or developement for new builds but I know nothing about this. It also has some really nce oak and pine trees on the land that are worth something. Does anyone do this i could really use some insight. whats the best way to find a partner on this kind of deal. I head maybe finding a builder to partner with was a way to go.

Hey everyone at biggerpockets glad to network with you. My partner has a 720 credit score and we trying to figure out the best way to utilize it for investing in real estate. I was thinking off get a line of credit but dont know who to get one from. I also thought about peer to peer lending or crowdfunding. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
