Post: Private Funding To Build From.

Hey BP members,  really stretching out here and asking to see if anyone would be so kind as to have a conversation with me regarding getting some private funding from them, or someone they know and trust.  I mean well here, but I feel pretty silly about asking complete strangers for a loan, but I know its not out of the realm of crazy, and I have heard that some pretty incredible things have happened because of a message just like this one.  So, my apologies if I am going about this all wrong, but I'm just taking a shot, like many of you did or will at some point.  Feel free to message me...or, not  :)

Thanks for taking the time here.

Longevity to you all....

Im an "engineer", but I'm more on the consulting side. Mechanical engineer for the food and beverage industry (think Pepsi, Coke, Budweiser, Frito Lay, Clorox, etc). Based out of St. Louis, MO. Just started my REI journey last year and looking for that to replace my W2 income so I can move away from the rat race :)

Hey BP problem solvers!

A friend of mine wants to sell her current residence and find a new location.  She runs her own business and doesn't file a typical W2 because she works for herself.  Big banks wont consider her for a loan, probably do to this and the fact that her income might not be where they like to see it.  I need to find out what she is doing for her taxes, what she might be writing off, etc... but what sort of recommendations do you all have so that she can find a new home?  I think she has tried a bank statement loan before, but could not find any small banks to lend to her (without a cosigner at least).

any ideas all you clever folks may have would be welcomed!

Longevity to you all!!
