Our company gkhouses manages 2600 properties in 8 markets, I know across the board we have seen surprising steady numbers. In my market Atlanta, it appears summer has come earlier this year as more people have the time to view properties. This being said, our company uses Rently to show properties a digital lockbox service, this has seen a sharp increase in showings in recent weeks.

@Alethea Sealy The company I work for gkhouses is in 8 different markets and we have made the decision to put late fees on hold during this current period. Unfortunately, we have had to apply this across the board even if tenants have been late numerous times in the past. As for now, I know it differs in each state but your options are limited and I am of the opinion with the current crisis a court may look at high late fees as unethical.

It's a shame about your current situation, at my company we are working in 8 different markets and we have taken the approach of over-communicating (in writing) during this time as the courts are closed. This may be a long-drawn-out process given the current situation, we have given tenants a financial incentive to move out such as paying them $200 to move out and return the keys just to try and avoid going down the path of eviction.

Hi @Dave S., a great question you raise about the late fees. The company I work for gkhouses is in 8 different markets and we have made the decision to put late fees on hold during this current period. Unfortunately, we have had to apply this across the board even if tenants have been late numerous times in the past. As for now, our company has taken the approach to be empathic of the current situation and hopes this will pay off and we can renew our leases with the majority of our tenants.
