I’m not doing anything. Just trying to find out what developments of new construction non primary condominiums are paying Brokers on a sale.

I’m looking for a range. We are just researching for a possible future project.
The answer in Florida is 6 to 10%.

Quote from @Angie Castro:

Hey Joel! It all depends on the deal. Did the realtor find you the land? Have they help you during the construction process such as picking out finishes and walking the property for you?  What is the price point?

I know that typically there is a 5 to 6% commission in most Resi transactions. What are developers of new short term rental projects paying Realtors in North Carolina? In Florida we see 6 to 10%.

Quote from @Andrew Steffens:

Oh, not trying to sell you on our PM services.  Our Office Manager in conjunction with accountant remit the taxes directly for all of our units but I see the emails come in from the state and counties about our accounts and payment remittance.  I would call the county and state taxation offices or go on their sites and set up accounts.  It is not too complicated to do

Please DM me when you have a chance with the cost of managing just my city, county and state sales taxes.  If I would do that with you, I would likely have you do my Federal tax as well and keep it all in one house. Thank you.

Quote from @JD Martin:

We do our own. With 2 units it shouldn't take you more than a few minutes if you've been tracking your income in something as basic as a spreadsheet. All done online. Do the state sales tax first, then your county option tax if it has one. Didn't know any cities were able to collect an additional tax beyond the county option but surely they're using something online.

Alternatively, nix any stays that aren't AirBnb/VRBO. Then you don't have to worry about submitting any of it.

I don't have the desire or time to do on my own. So Avalara is my best option so far.

I have 2. But I'm needing just the Florida city, county and state taxes managed. I don't want a property manager. I hired and fired 5. None of them understand or care about quality control and delivering 5 star service.

I am using Avalara to manage my sales & use tax certificates, Licenses, Returns and remittance besides what Airbnb remits. They do an okay job but it still involves more work from me then I have time for. Anyone have a better solution or service?

Thank you.

I just signed on with Hospitable. But a bit nervous just hearing about this calendar issue Robert Liddle is talking about. Anyone else having this issue or his an isolated issue?
