@JJ Chojnowski In talking to others, it seems the Lehigh Valley is still a sellers market. However, if you know where to look and how to evaluate a property, you could certainly find a good deal. The sellers are making money selling their appreciated properties, but they are selling simply because they're are buyers who think that it's worth buying. I believe those that say there is a housing bubble that will burst in the coming months. Do your homework on both the market and on each individual deal. I could be wrong, it's happened before (thankfully not often).

@Mike M. Umm, if the law allows it, then I'm not looking to get around the law. I'm looking to adhere to the law. But nice try.

@Mike M. Wow, you presume way too much. First of all, my siblings and I are working to take them in, nearer to extended family in Pittsburgh (they are currently in York), not that that is any of your business. Second, oh master architect, houses are not built out of Lego and you cannot just easily add a room or addition. Third, the government takes, takes, takes from the producers like my parents and gives to the moochers. I really don't care about anyone's judgment about whether they should or should not take advantage of the law, they've helped to support so many others. If the law allows for it, then it allows for it. I'm just looking for what the law allows. Lastly, I expect my mother will need significant care in the future and I don't want her financially destroyed.

I have had very unpleasant experiences with them. Not only did I move my money to CamaPlan and have been very happy, but if any of my joint venture partners for my note deals had money with Equity Trust, I would encourage them to move to another custodian before I would take their money. Customer service is attrocious, money moves at a snail's pace, they were very aggrevating to me. Run away! I've also heard good things about Quest IRA, but have no experience with them.

@Dawn Young you do not need a fence.  Make a perimeter wall of inward facing storage units.  Not only do you eliminate the need for a fence (yes, you still need a gate), but you actually will fit more storage unit footage onto the same parcel.

@Brian Eastman, this is the first I've heard that a quid pro quo arrangement is prohibited.  I apologize, I didn't seque well enough from supporting your statement to then adding my own.

In January, I sold my duplex in Allentown.  It is still a sellers market in the Lehigh Valley.  David Ribard is my realtor, he sold my property before it was even listed.  He works exclusively with investors.
